JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The University College is seeking applicants for part-time job of Instructional Design Support. This position will be supporting faculty instructional design needs at the Penn State Commonwealth Campuses.
Successful candidates will collaborate and consult with faculty members on the effective use of learning strategies multimedia and educational technology while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Successful candidates will collaborate with instructional designers to facilitate virtual workshops and create documentation on a variety of learning design concepts.
This position will provide instructional design support to faculty teaching in-person online and blended courses and may also conduct quality assurance reviews and accessibility testing of course content.

Standard working hours are 8am - 5pm in the eastern time zone.
Hours anticipated: 15-20/week; 240 hours max per semester
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $20/hour but may be higher depending upon experience and qualifications.
