Job Title: Senior Risk and Compliance Officer
Description: We are hiring for our client a prominent player in the insurance sector who is seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to join their dynamic Compliance team based in Dublin. This pivotal position allows you to influence the development and implementation of the Risk and Compliance Framework while reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance. The Role:
- Develop and implement the Compliance Framework and Compliance Plan.
- Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and provide strategic advice on controls and regulatory compliance.
- Review products documents and marketing communications for compliance.
- Participate in new business initiatives to ensure compliance considerations and risks are meticulously assessed.
- Support the maintenance of the risk management framework and contribute to reports for the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee.
The Person:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Compliance function preferably in the insurance industry.
- Qualified accountant or holder of a relevant 3rd level qualification in Business or Law.
- Additional compliance qualification is desirable.
- Strong communication organizational analytical and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Irish financial regulations applicable to insurance intermediaries.
