Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBIs Buildings and Placemaking practice our Places capabilities and CRTKLs multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design sustainability and technology.
Arcadis is seeking a lead interior designer to join its retail studio located in Beijing/Shanghai. This position collaborates with a diverse and creative team dedicated to excellence in design and innovative problem solving. This position requires someonewho initiates design concepts and leads the development of design.
- Partners with the studio manager to establish a planning and design vision.
- Leads the design for multiple mixed-use projects primarily domestic.
- Presents and sells design solutions at client meetings and public hearings.
- Communicates openly embrace mentorship and nurture the next generation of designers.
- Bachelors degreeinArchitecture
- Professional licensure preferred
- 10 years as a project lead designer in Interior design field
- Portfolio of built work as a lead designer
- Advanced master-planning and building planning skills
- Ability to advance a design through all project phases from concept to detail development
- Experience designing domestic large scale mixed-use projects with a focus of expertise onRetail Hotel and Offices
- Understanding of market trends and ability to tailor designs to clients business objectives
- Knowledge of Chinese construction practices and management of projects in China
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- Proficient with AutoCAD Rhino SketchUp Photoshop
- Ability to balance the needs of projects with corporate goals
