Opportunity:
The Import Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the importation process to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with suppliers freight forwarders and internal teams to streamline logistics operations and maintain compliance with international trade regulations
How You Will Make an Impact:
Import Operation: Oversee the entire import process from order placement to delivery ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review import documentation to ensure compliance with international trade laws.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and tariffs to minimize risks and avoid delays.
Cost Management: Monitor and report on logistics costs identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Performance Tracking: Develop and utilize KPIs to track the efficiency and effectiveness of import operations.
Provide regular reports and insights to management on import activities and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal Business Units to align logistics activities with business objectives.
Foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external norms procedures and guidelines
Background:
Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Administration Foreign Trade Engineer and related;
Previous Experience: Transport Logistics and Customs Operation
Knowledge: S4Hana SAP/TM.
Knowledge: Microsoft Office Package (required)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of international trade regulations customs procedures and special regimes (Recof)
Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems and PowerBI with strong data management and reporting capabilities.
Experience in an operational environment with proven ability to thoroughly understand processes identify improvement opportunities and drive change.
Foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance collaboration and service delivery
