As an experienced software developer you will be responsible for the design development and support of turnkey software systems based on Thales IBSs software solutions in the fields of image processing biometric identification and investigation applications.
Working individually or as part of a larger team you will learn the knowledge of existing products and you will be responsible for the design and development of new functionalities the customization and modification of existing modules/applications bug fixing.
A week in the life of a Software Development Engineer:
- You will develop and enhance biometric enrollment and identification product;
- You will maintain and support existing biometric enrollment and identification product and troubleshoot current production system issues;
- You will develop new client/web applications;
- You will configure fine-tune deploy the solution on test/production environment (local and client site);
- You will understand and adhere to design and coding procedures and standards;
- You will write the technical documentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in technical discipline or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience Software Development;
- Minimum of 2 years of Web Frontend Development (React).
Requirements:
- Solid foundation on programming and have certain understanding of object-oriented and design patterns;
- Very good knowledge of C#;
- Experience with object oriented C# libraries w3 SOAP services WPF;
- Skilled in Javascript (ES6) CSS HTML5 Flex;
- Experience of web application packing tools such as npm Webpack;
- Experience with other web application frameworks (React Angular or Vue);
- Knowledge of some of the scripting languages;
- Build system: Maven;
- Source control systems: Git SVN;
- Bug tracking system: Jira;
- Customer oriented good communication skills collaboration reporting analytical and problem solving skills;
- Autonomous and creative;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure;
- Fluent in English in verbal and written communication;
- Willingness to travel for workshops integration and deployment in customer premises (time spent abroad up to 20%).

- WEB API or Core REST API;
- .NET Core Standard;
- SOLID principle Design Patterns and other best practices;
- MOQ MSTest jUnit xUnit nUnit Mockito RobotFramework or other testing frameworks;
- Basics of cryptography (symmetric asymmetric PKI protocols Bouncy Castle);
- Other languages (Java C);
- Management & Deployment tools: Docker Kubernetes Jenkins SVN Git Git Lab pipelines;
- Skilled in RDBMS design and development;
- Skilled in image processing computer graphic;
- Encryption technologies;
- Experience and applying security practices in Software security.
