Role Overview:

As a C Model Developer youll play a pivotal role in developing optimising and maintaining high-performance real-time trading systems and sophisticated quantitative models critical to our competitive edge. Joining our Dublin-based Data-Driven Trading team youll work extensively with modern C to create software solutions focused on low-latency market data distribution advanced quantitative modelling order-routing systems and dynamic trading environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design analyse and develop complex high-performance quantitative models and software critical to trading operations.
  • Lead the software and model development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to production deployment.
  • Optimise and maintain existing C systems and models to meet evolving technical and business demands.
  • Collaborate closely with traders quantitative researchers and analysts to improve system and model performance and reliability

What were looking for

  • A degree in Physics Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering or a related quantitative field (advanced degrees preferred).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in software and model development.
  • Strong proficiency in modern C (C11/14/17) with particular emphasis on quantitative modelling.
  • Experience developing high-frequency low-latency applications is beneficial.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex software solutions with rigorous performance and scalability demands.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities particularly in mathematical modelling statistical analysis physics-based simulations or algorithmic research.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks manage deadlines and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
  • An interest or experience in capital markets probability theory statistical modelling or game theory is advantageous.
