Key Accountabilities:

• Lead IAF AFM Product Roadmap and Product Plan
• Enhance business levels for IAF AFM products in APAC
• Collect market feedback on new product ideas localization product improvements and new product development
• Translate market requirements into product development deliverables
• Organize professional product and application support throughout our APAC entities
• Define product programs and help to actively drive products sales through our entities in line with our strategic objectives
• Design model and generate engineering drawings for IAF AFM products.
• Follow the design process and ensure the designs follow Donaldsons common and best practices.
• Coordinate project team to ensure APD projects utilize online APD process tool and all data are complete to date. Provide regular updates/reporting to product leadership.
• Create and maintain technical data cross reference list and product performance criteria in addition to sales tools related to AFM product engineering.
• Support Donaldson filter manufacturing in Wuxi plants. Responsible for design model generate engineering drawings and design BOM for IAF AFM projects such as filter element localization cost saving initiatives new filter element development etc. follow the design process and ensure the designs follow Donaldsons common and best practices.
• Responsible for will-fit RFQ handling includes making drawing BOM ECO & NPR management providing the design and product documentations follow the RFQ/APD process through in-house and external suppliers with performance metric tracked and updated.
• Support Competitor Capability and Positioning Study.
• Responsible for online EWRs for the IAF media and filter section.

Key Qualifications:

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Industrial Civil or Chemical Engineering

Technical Competence & Skills:

• 3-5 years experience on the new product development and product management experience
• Strong project management experience especially for the new business development with great time management and marketing skill.
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are a must.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint. better with drafting tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks will be a plus.
• Good knowledge of effective manufacturing practices.
• Self-motivated good sense of initiative willing to learn solution-oriented able to work with a wide range of technical sales manufacturing distribution and management personnel in a fast-paced environment. Able to work under pressure.

Relevant Experience:

• Application Engineering
• Product Engineering
• Project Management
• Industrial Ventilation Industrial Air Filtration strongly preferred.

Others (% of travel language etc.):

• Fluent in Chinese and English
• Able to travel regularly both within and out of China.
