Join our team as a Project Engineer where youll play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions for our Gas Programs this dynamic position youll work both independently and alongside seasoned mentors gaining hands-on experience and expanding your technical expertise. Whether youre tackling new design challenges or collaborating with senior engineers this is a great opportunity to grow professionally in an environment that values learning innovation and teamwork.
As a Project Engineer youll lead design efforts on mid-sized projects ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. Youll mentor junior engineers coordinate with design teams and deliver high-quality analyses and reviews. Youll engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements flag challenges to the Project Manager and support business development. Your role also includes reviewing drawings participating in quality control and driving process improvementsall while maintaining a strong focus on precision and efficiency.
This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte NC. Youll be expected to meet with the team and clients in Charlotte as needed with approximately 10% travel for site visits and client meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience in the pipeline or related industry.
- Experience with permitting and civil utility projects including DOT or government design work.
- Valid drivers license for fieldwork or site visits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience in gas design projects.
