Job Description
JOB TITLE: Entry Level Laboratory Assistant
JOB LOCATION:Kama-Otto Nasarawa
JOB DETAILS:
- We are currently hiring fresh graduates for Entry Level Laboratory Assistant.
- These candidates support the laboratory team by assisting with the collection and preparation of samples from mining operations.
- This role involves following instructions accurately learning new procedures quickly and ensuring that samples are handled and prepared correctly for analysis.
- The ideal candidate will be eager to be trained learn detail-oriented and capable of following orders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
ADVERTISEMENT
- Collect samples from various sources including ore crushed stone and workshop production materials as directed by senior staff.
- Prepare samples for analysis by following established procedures including drying grinding and labelling.
- Ensure samples are handled properly and in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Assist with routine laboratory tasks such as measuring mixing and basic testing under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment by following safety and cleanliness procedures.
- Support the setup and calibration of laboratory equipment as needed.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques as instructed by senior laboratory personnel.
- Follow orders and guidelines precisely to ensure consistency and accuracy in laboratory work.
- Participate in training sessions and seek to improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Chemical Engineering Lab Science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Fast learner with a willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to solve basic chemical equations.
Salary
N80000 per month.
