Job Description

SUMMARY: To help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature able and responsible men and women.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in screening evaluating and recommending placement of students into the schools special needs the learning abilities of students as a member of the evaluation a program that as much as possible meets the individual needs interests and abilities of assigned students as a result of the TEAM evaluation instructional methods and materials that are most suitable for achieving the stated objectives in each students educational responsible for writing an educational plan for assigned students enrolled in the special needs students progress regularly and provide progress reports as written quarterly reports to parents of students enrolled in the special needs regularly with the parents of assigned students in the special needs in integrating all special needs students into regular as a resource to the classroom staff about students with special monthly attendance duties may be assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:RIDE Special Education Certification (Grades 5-8 or 6-12)Must have or the ability to obtain the Right to Read Proficiency certificateMLL Certification preferred
