Job Description

Part-time lecturer for Multimodal and Theatre Translation

Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation Programme (MTI) at NTU is seeking experienced part-time instructors who excel at teaching courses on theatre translation. A proven track record of practical translation experience for drama theatre play and other forms of stage performance are preferred. The instructors responsibilities include designing the course syllabus conducting lectures and student consultation designing assignments administering assessment and grading and providing constructive feedback to support student learning.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education.

Candidates should have a postgraduate level degree level of T&I (Translation and Interpreting) degree and/or PhD degree for theatre studies. We are also looking for candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate is expected to use both Chinese and English as the medium of instruction and to commence duty as soon as possible.
