Indie SchoolIpswich invites qualified teachers to join our Casual Relief Teacher (CRT) pool. We are looking for educators whether new graduates or experienced primary or secondary trainedwho share our passion for holistic strengths-based education and believe every young person can re-engage and succeed.

  • Work effectively in a small team engage with feedback and embrace coaching and mentoring opportunities.
  • Support diverse learners including students with learning disabilities behavioural conditions ASD ADHD low literacy or numeracy and mental health needs. Youll personalise lessons and embed Individual Plan strategies aligned with NCCD levels.
  • Provide timely and specific formative feedback to foster ongoing learning.
  • Apply trauma-informed behaviour management strategies or be motivated to gain this knowledge.
  • Prioritise helping students experience success and contribute to a positive classroom culture.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a current QCT registration (QLD)
  • Recent National Police Check (issued in the 3-month prior to commencement).
