About the assignment
To fuel our growth we are looking for entrepreneurial purpose-driven experts who share our vision of making mental well-being direct approachable and impactful.
At OpenUp we focus on prevention. We dont diagnose; we provide guidance for lifes everyday challenges - whether its work-related stress self-confidence relationship dynamics or finding direction in uncertain times.
We offer planned and on-demand video consults seven days a week ensuring people can access support when they need it most - no long waits no each session (usually 25 minutes) youll help clients set clear actionable goals and guide them toward meaningful first steps.
Our mission is to help people build skills and autonomy so they feel confident to continue their journey independently. Many clients find they gain what they need in just a few focused conversations - thanks to your structured goal-oriented support.
Youll engage with a wide variety of people from diverse cultural backgrounds and industries and youll have opportunities to grow through weekly intervision sessions and ongoing development. We work together to make mental well-being accessible practical and empowering for everyone.
About you
Youre a psychologist (MSc) whos passionate about making a difference- both locally and internationally. You enjoy working in a dynamic fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a meaningful mission.
We welcome experts who meet the following criteria:
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) and confident in delivering consultations in English.
- Masters degree in Psychology.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in 1:1 clinical conversations.
- Solid knowledge of solution-focused therapy ACT and/or CBT.
- Tech-savvy with a self-reliant approach to digital platforms and systems.
- You have a laptop/computer with Windows 10 or later OR MacOS Ventura or later AND an antivirus turned on in your device.
- Entrepreneurial proactive and open to continuous learning.
- A team player who thrives independently and takes ownership of personal and professional growth.
- A natural connector: you create a safe supportive space for clients and act decisively to help them move forward.
- You live the practice what you preach mindset showing integrity and reflection in how you approach both clients and colleagues.
Freelance experience is a plus as we value self-starters who are confident in managing their own practice.

- A freelance contract for 10 hours per week.

- To give direction to your professional development 2 training day parts per year are facilitated by OpenUp to reflect on your skills and values as a psychologist.
