Job Description

Job Summary:

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager Inside Sales the Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting our customers and internal team members by managing order entry in the BaaN ERP system maintaining RFQs in Salesforce CRM and performing a variety of administrative and reception functions as well as all other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

Order Processing & Data Management
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the BaaN ERP system and ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain customer records track orders and monitor fulfillment status.
RFQ & CRM Support
  • Manage and update new Requests for Quote (RFQs) within Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure timely responses to RFQs.
  • Track customer inquiries quotations and follow-ups within CRM.
Customer Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone email and in person.
  • Provide product order status and service information to customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolve customer issues or escalate as needed to ensure satisfaction.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing document preparation and data entry.
  • Support other departments with administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in business administration or related field of study preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with co-workers customers and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Minimum of two years customer service or administrative experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience using BaaN ERP system and Salesforce CRM highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
