Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full-timePharmacy Technicianto join our team at IllinoisCorrectional Centerlocated inMenard Illinois.
The PharmacyTechnician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. Aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned supervised duties to include interacting with healthcare professionals corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the pharmacy department. Duties will include typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy and ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing. Our PharmacyTechnicians also maintain pharmacy files on prescriptions requisitions medication logs drug and patient information purchase orders and other records as required by the Pharmacist.
Qualifications
- Current certification and licensure as a PharmacyTechnician
- Minimum one year experience as a PharmacyTechnician preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
