Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regulatory reviews for raw materials and formulations to determine compliance in the regions.
  • Supporting services necessary for ongoing regulatory affairs to the ANZ organization and current/prospective customers to maintain and grow the business. This position also supports the APAC region as necessary.
  • Being accountable for understanding the Regulatory Affairs Strategy and the companys overall strategy.
  • Keeping abreast of current legislation guidelines and other regulatory intelligence. Ensuring that regulatory trends and changes are identified understood and promptly communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Innovation and Development Quality Legal Portfolio and Supply Chain to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinating with the Director of International Regulatory Affairs to communicate with regulatory authorities and other external parties following applicable guidelines and regulations in the markets served.
  • Providing and maintaining best-in-class service to internal and external customers/stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a safe and incident-free working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Food Science Technology or any relevant discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence business strategy and decisions.
  • Being comfortable with change and able to serve as a change agent to assist the organization in embracing new ideas and driving growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations in key markets of operation.
  • Demonstrating business acumen to collaborate effectively across functions regions and the business unit to drive results and achieve goals.
  • Having experience and knowledge in chemical regulation preferably with toxicology experience in manufacturing and regulatory affairs with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Effectively communicating verbally and in writing to influence decision-making and ensure the organization understands the impact of the issues.
  • A definite advantage in interacting with remote or dispersed teams.
  • English as a mother tongue; bilingual in Chinese preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint).
