Purpose
Key Missions
System Implementation & Optimization:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure delivered by IDEMIA including servers storage and data centers.
- Oversee the configuration and installation of IT solutions and services (operating systems applications security tools).
- Optimize infrastructure for performance scalability security and cost efficiency.
Network Administration:
- Plan implement and manage the organizations network architecture.
- Monitor network performance troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Provide strategic recommendations for network improvements and upgrades.
System Deployment & Maintenance:
- Lead the deployment configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues providing guidance to junior engineers.
- Ensure timely updates patches and upgrades to maintain system security and performance.
- Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for system administration.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 system engineers providing technical guidance performance feedback and training.
- Coordinate team tasks resource allocation and project timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
Profile & Other Information
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Engineer with a focus on infrastructure network and security.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role ( with a focus on infrastructure and network)
- Experience with server administration networking and virtualization (VMware Hyper-V etc.).
- Knowledge of networking protocols security frameworks and infrastructure components.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls including configuration management and troubleshooting
