Reports to: Talent Operations VTH Leader (Assistant Director)


Job Summary:

Talent Shared Services (TSS) is a core service line within the Global Delivery Services organization providing multiple HR support services including Recruitment support Onboarding support People Data Administration Learning Administration Cross Border Travel Global Mobility and Performance Management support to EY member firms. TSS provides services to country sub-area area and global people teams and other EY stakeholders involved in HR L&D and recruiting transactions and associated administration reporting and people infrastructure. These services are delivered from our centres in Dalian China; Kerala and Bangalore India; Wroclaw Poland; and Manila Philippines. TSS team delivers consistent high-quality and operationally efficient HR transactional services to EY through a globally efficient and effective network of GDS centres.

Virtual Talent Hub (VTH) for the respective function is an integral part of TS service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.
Talent Operations VTH supports specific Regions and acts as part of the extended Region Talent team.
VTH works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues participating in meetings projects and planning activities as part of one team. The Team supports the Region in performing operational and administrative tasks to allow the onshore team to focus on consultative and strategic activities based on the priorities of the Region.

The US project manager role supports the US Talent Operations team. The resource assists in compliance activities driving and tracking shared projects with vendor and EY and manages high-volume work instruction amendments.
This role manages processes reviews complex transactions evaluates and improves processes and contributes to projects as needed. The work requires extensive knowledge of project management principles. This role requires effective communication using proper terminology professionalism and ability to work with vendors and stakeholders and hold them accountable.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Responsibilities:
Perform quarterly audits in accordance with specific work instructions
Execute improvements in RAID tracker
Ensure all Vendor/EY shared projects are tracked progressing and all requirements are met and documented before closure
Assist with requirements gathering and project management of work instruction changes gaining approval from proper stakeholders communicating to affected parties and maintaining correct documentation following internal team protocols
Assist with other projects (i.e. new state forms) as required
Manage tasks and activities in a timely manner and accountable for desired outcomes with limited supervision
Prepare and/or generate status reports using Project Management tools and other firm standard software
Develop and manage client relationships and expectations
Perform specialized and complex tasks and contribute to projects
Manage escalations in a timely manner. Identify potential risks analyze them and take preventative steps to reduce or mitigate the impact of these risks on the project.
Identify and share process improvement ideas with leadership and implement approved process improvements
Proactively communicate questions and concerns with leadership
Updates to Operations Project Tracker and to Operations Team Huddle OneNote

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Firm standard technology including Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Success Factors and other related applications

Interact effectively and maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating tact and diplomacy
Highly skilled attention to detail and self-assurance of quality of work performed and/or reviewed

The ability to negotiate with stakeholders suppliers and team members to achieve the best outcomes for the project.
Strong leadership skills to motivate inspire and guide team members. This includes the ability to resolve conflicts make decisions and foster a positive team environment.

Job Requirements:
Education:

Bachelors degree / Post Grad in business or HR related discipline preferred
Preference will be given for those with HR Specialisation
Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred


Experience:

Minimum 8 years of HR experience including Talent project management
Previous experience of working with or in a Talent Shared Services model
Prior experience of working within an onshore/offshore model
Demonstrable experience in conducting internal and external analysis to understand trends develop and share insights and best practices
Demonstrable experience of working in fast-paced ambiguous stressful environments to deliver required results
Demonstrable experience in closely related Talent management consulting or operations role
Demonstrable experience of collaborating with Talent colleagues and businesses to understand needs and shape solutions
Comfort and/or experience working in globally dispersed teams to deliver services processes and standards
Experience in delivering/facilitating internal operations processes to drive intended outcomes
