Responsibilities:

• Lead the Pro Shop team on arrival and retail experience standards with focus on personalisation and professionalism.
• Support the Retail Manager in executing daily retail functions including opening and closing procedures cash handling stock control and ordering.
• Creating and maintaining a welcoming clean and organised shop floor including apparel areas fitting rooms and the counter space.
• Contribute in the training and ongoing guidance of the team to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Assist with implementing merchandise displays product layouts and retail promotions in accordance with seasonal themes events and brand standards.
• Demonstrate and encourage excellent customer service skills; greeting and welcoming members and guests providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
• Help to prepare business performance reports for sales expenses stock turn and other measurements throughout the year.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in a golf or hospitality environment
• Passion for golf and a basic understanding of golf etiquette and rules preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
• Basic computer skills for processing reservations and transactions
