Job Description

Are you a senior piping mechanical engineer with expertise in the design and operation of thermal power plants carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) as well as Power-to-X technologies at all project stages If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Piping Engineer.

Green fuel alternatives will enable the green transition but not without your help
In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping Denmarks green energy transition by contributing to the worlds largest green fuel projects.

We are a diverse team of 100 professionals collaborating with customers on some of the most significant and innovative energy and sustainability projects in Denmark. Notably we have contributed to transformative initiatives such as CO2 capture at rsteds Power Plant Avedrevrket and CO2 capture at Lisbjerg Power Plant Aarhus reflecting our high standards and sustainability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting pre-feasibility feasibility concept and FEED studies
  • Planning design specifications review and integration of Carbon capture Power-to-X and power plant solutions
  • Pipe routing and piping stress analysis
  • Perform basic and detailed design along with model reviews
  • Engage in coordination and project management activities

On top of that you will have:

  • A bachelors or masters degree in a related engineering field
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in an engineering or technical environment as thermal power sector or CCUS / PtX
  • You have a strong theoretical foundation and practical experience in pipe calculations for high pressure steam district heating and condensate systems
  • In-depth experience with some of the following: pipe sizing and materials volumes and flow rates pressures/stress analyses layout plans automated/mechanical features piping system supports/fasteners
  • Knowledge about ROHR2 or similar software for pipe stress analysis while knowledge about AutoCAD Plant 3D E3D/PDMS
  • Knowledge of piping norms (EN13480)
  • As you will have a large interface in this role it is important that you are open outgoing and have good communication skills
  • You are capable of handling multiple changing tasks and completing them with a focus on technology time and economy
  • Advantageous if you have experience in solving operational support tasks within the power plant industry
  • Advanced English and Danish in both speaking and writing
