Job Summary
In this fast paced role you will provide front line support for Apples Data Center network to address a wide variety of business challenges. You will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task and provide operational support to various businesses within Apple. This position requires a collaborative teammate who will enjoy working with others around the globe. Your responsibilities will include working on tickets and break fixes maintaining and upgrading existing networks to current standards and sustaining operations as well as contributing to technical and procedural this role you will obsess over minute details and drive operational perfection in every aspect of your work to deliver the best possible customer addition to the required technical networking skills this position will also draw on good interpersonal skills and an individual who enjoys the dynamic nature of Apples environment. If you enjoy close collaboration open and active discussion and following through on the details we believe youll love being part of our team.
- At least 7 years of Network Operations and/or engineering/design background
- Proficiency in English and Chinese
- Solid background in Cisco or Arista routing/switching and firewall configuration
- Good understanding of BGP and TCP/IP
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experienced in leading complex network projects
- Self-starter self-motivated self-directed self-sufficient
- Experience in large scale networks
- Understanding and experience with CLOS networking and SDN is a plus
- Knowledge of configuration management and automation technologies such as Ansible Salt Chef and Python Go etc
