Amazon is seeking a highly analytical meticulous and forward-thinking Senior Staff Accountant to become a key member of its Statutory Support Center based in Beijing. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Amazon corporate accounting teams across APAC to ensure high quality and timely deliverables in the statutory and financial compliance space. Strong organizational skills and information technology aptitude.
Key job responsibilities
Preparing various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs including statutory close support analytics and supplementary financial analysis;
Supporting corporate accounting teams across APAC and global in preparing statutory financial statements;
Working closely with business partners across APAC and globally to maintain efficient and compliant accounting processes;
Identifying and establishing process improvements;
Collaborating closely with Accounting and Technology teams to drive standardization and automation globally.
- 1 years of finance experience
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 2 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel Access Oracle Essbase SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning forecasting and reporting
- 2 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1 Data Warehouse and SQL
