Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Order Coordination: Manage the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area ensuring that all dishes are prepared and served promptly.
- Quality Control: Check each dish for accuracy and presentation before it leaves the kitchen ensuring it meets the restaurants standards.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between kitchen staff and waitstaff relaying information about order status and any issues that arise.
- Final Preparation: Assist in the final plating and garnishing of dishes ensuring they are visually appealing and ready for service.
- Problem Resolution: Address any discrepancies or issues with food orders including delays or mistakes to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Sanitation Standards: Uphold health and safety regulations in the kitchen ensuring cleanliness and proper food handling practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment preferably in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
- Strong ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurants standards.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
