The opportunity
Were looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Buyer with a strong background in aviation to join our rapidly expanding Sofia office.
In this role youll be responsible for delivering on our Group Procurement Strategic Plan managing supplier/category allocations and driving value through cost reduction risk mitigation and supplier performance. Youll play a key role in supporting major C&E contracts for a key customer (circa $20m annually / $200m over 10 years) ensuring materials and services are available while safeguarding business performance.
What were looking for:
Proven aviation procurement/sourcing experience (essential)
Strong commercial awareness and supplier management skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships even when challenging the status quo (e.g. supplier consolidation)
Comfortable with technology able to define requirements manage data effectively and enable automation (e.g. PO creation)
Understanding of the wider commercial environment and variables affecting procurement decisions
