Reporting to the Director of Accounting North America the Accountant II is responsible for participating in the monthly close and reconciliation process in addition to having responsibilities for assisting in various audit activities and preparing judgmental accounting reserves.
This position is part of the Accounting department located in Loveland Colorado (hybrid) or in Colombia (remote) depending on the candidate location.
In this role a typical day will look like:
Drives for Results
Assist in the monthly close process prepare journal entries perform account reconciliations along with judgmental reserves
Actively participate in team projects including but not limited to SOX testing internal and external audits and partnering with other departments
Demonstrate Hach and Veralto accounting policies and procedures
Successfully manage competing priorities in a deadline driven environment with professional mobility and agility
Leads Continuous Improvement
Perform ad hoc analysis focused on operational efficiencies
Identify develop and implement standard work and efficiency improvements
Drive continuous process improvement using VES (Veralto Enterprise Systems) tools
Relationships and Influence
Act as a subject matter expert for your areas of responsibility; including month end responsibilities
Work cooperatively and productively with others to achieve results
Learn from your peers as you work together on various accounting tasks.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Working knowledge of US GAAP
U.S. or International equivalent of bachelors degree
3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with manufacturing costing systems a plus
Use of financial reporting tools including experience with a large ERP Oracle preferred and Microsoft office Suite with intermediate Excel skills
Excellent English communication both written and verbal
Experience working for a US-based public company preferred

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $70000 - $78000 USD per job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
