This position can be based in Jacksonville with a hybrid work schedule or can also be a REMOTE position

- An active IRS PTIN authorization to prepare taxes for individuals and businesses
- Recent tax preparation experience in a fast paced environment
- Desire to grow in the area of tax

Job Responsibilities:
You will enjoy a fast paced high volume work environment where your ability to work both independently and as a member of a cohesive team will be valuable. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and filing of tax returns for Community Tax clients (individuals and businesses)
- Providing world class service to clients facing life changing challenges
- Collaborating with appropriate key people and departmental personnel so that client needs will be handled correctly and promptly
- Daily client interaction as required to complete client tax returns
- Working with technology to support a high volume client flow with quality services
- Ensuring our clients receive fast accurate professional services while ensuring the best possible outcome for the tax challenges they face or the ongoing services they need
Community Tax also provides an internal Enrolled Agent study program!
Job Requirements
- Active IRS PTIN
- 3 seasons of Experience preparing and filing Individual returns and business tax returns
- Some college education with an Associates or Bachelors degree a plus
- Lacerte experience a plus
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills as there will be heavy client interaction
- Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
