AWS China Introduction Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013 and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019 Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022 Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two IoT labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. Your responsibilities will include engaging with key industry customers engaging strategic industry partners attending and speaking at industry events leading the process to enable industry solutions and create significant new business opportunities for AWS. You will enable the AWS BD teams selling to industry accounts to drive their day-to-day interactions with key prospects. You will work closely with AWS Solutions Architects to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions including partner based solutions etc. You will work closely with the AWS product and services teams Global Logistics Industry team and Amazon Global Logistics BU to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption by Logistics customers.

Requirements:
Industry Expertise: Proven experience the logistics industry with a comprehensive understanding of business systems
Cloud Experience: Mid-level understanding of cloud computing concepts and their practical application in the transportation and logistics industry. Familiarity with platforms such as AWS Azure Aliyun or Huawei cloud is a plus.
Digital Transformation Experience: Experience in leading or contributing to digital transformation projects in the transportation and logistics sector particularly those involving cloud-based innovations like IoT integration AI-powered demand forecasting or automated warehouses..
Consultative Mindset: Proven ability to engage with clients at all levels from C-suite to operations and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Transportation or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Serve as a key member of the Business Development team to drive overall AWS Logistics market and technical strategy. Define and execute on a strategic market development plan in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g. BD teams SA/ISA Team product teams marketing partner team support Global team etc.).
Identify and engage key customers and key partners including ISVs and SI partner to drive the adoption of AWS industry solution.
Build business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners.
Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our offerings for the Logistics industry.
Present business reviews to the management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our coverage
