Overview
Positive Choices are currently looking to recruit Volunteers to support the young people who access our service with their engagement by coordinating running & evaluating the Services diversionary activities.
Positive Choices is Change Grow Lives confidential service in Coventry supporting young people between the ages of 5 and 24. We offer advice and guidance to young people who are affected by a loved ones drug or alcohol misuse or if they are using drugs or alcohol themselves and want support to make changes.
We also support young people around unhealthy partner relationships sexual health and keeping safe online and in the community. We are an award winning service with a great reputation across the city and are currently looking to expand our volunteering team with people that want to make a real difference.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Capture the voice of our young people regarding their views and preferences for diversionary activities through consultation.
- Devise a programme of diversionary activities based on the voice of our young people.
- Organise and support the facilitation of diversionary activities. Sometimes this may also include the transportation of young people.
- Be responsible for the evaluation of the activities to ensure our offer is meaningful and has a positive impact on our young people.
