Job Description
Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg) the largest and leading industrial gas company in South-east Asia employs 800 people recognized for their high level of expertise to provide gases equipment services and packaged solutions to support the requirements of the Singapore manufacturing industry.
Working Hours: 12 Hour Rotating Shift
Work Location: Jurong Island
Company transport provided at Jurong East MRT station
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
1). Daily Plant Operations
Monitor and control plant processes via the Distributed Control System (DCS) promptly notifying the shift supervisor of any abnormal alarm messages to ensure a consistent supply of quality products.
Troubleshoot plant processes during operational disruptions.
Execute daily tasks according to the monthly activity checklist.
Load and unload raw materials and products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
Conduct routine inspections and ongoing maintenance activities on machinery to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Perform analysis checks on cooling water and chilled water alerting the supervisor of any deviations from standard parameters.
Communicate effectively with pipeline customers to ensure the quality and quantity of supply.
Coordinate with raw material and product tanker drivers to facilitate safe and efficient loading and unloading processes.
Collaborate with maintenance personnel during equipment handovers ensuring proper isolation of systems and adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safety.
2. Safety Quality Assurance and Training
Strive for zero accidents and incidents by reporting near misses and participating in monthly ASU safety meetings.
Engage in the ISO 9001 implementation process by managing documentation controls and addressing auditor inquiries to avoid penalties.
Complete LMS training as required.
Are you a MATCH
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
Related working experience in chemical process plant will be advantageous
Basic equipment and distributed control system knowledge in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Safety minded team player and good working experience.
