Job Description

PC&L Sr Specialist HPDC

Objective

Support the transition from a reactive operational model to a strategic process-driven approach focused on continuous improvement system optimization and structured change management. The role is designed to enhance operational efficiency through workload distribution automation and improved cross-functional communication. It also aims to strengthen customer experience and employee well-being by reducing service inconsistencies mitigating risks and promoting a more sustainable and effective work environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Planning:

Manage both contractual and system-related customer requirements (e.g. GM/Ford).
Participate in daily customer escalation calls and internal operations meetings.
Develop and maintain the shipment plan and master production schedule for HPDC lines.

  • Inventory and Operational Control:
    Ensure physical inventory accuracy against system records.
    Coordinate interplant transfers and optimize material flow.
  • KPI Monitoring:
    Track installed capacity versus demand.
    Oversee operational patterns labor planning and shift requirements.
    Monitor scrap levels and implement containment actions as needed.
  • Communication & Escalation:
    Act as a key point of contact for both customer and internal teams.
    Proactively escalate production or shipping risks impacting customer fulfillment.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in industrial engineering Logistics or related fields.
  • Experience: 4-5 years in similar roles within the automotive industry preferably in high-pressure operational settings.
  • Strategic planning and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in SAP advanced Excel and planning systems.
  • Accountable and analytical.
  • Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proactive mindset with continuous improvement orientation.
  • English Proficiency
