As a senior member of the Advanced Technology organization lead the development of Heat exchanger. (e.g. higher performance and cost reduction of heat exchangers.)
Conduct the development/improvement of heat exchanger for the air-conditioner (Residential air-conditioner Commercial Air-conditioner) based on the heat transfer performance and flow dynamics performance of air-side and refrigerant-side by numerical and experimental analysis.
Lead development and timely transfer of advanced technologies of heat exchanger to the relevant product platform teams.
Work with platform and respective other component designer to identify gaps/opportunities for improving performance and cost structure
Support development and maintenance of the multi-year technology development and implementation roadmap
Design prototyping and experimental facilities leading to the evaluation of advanced component and systems
EXPERIENCE:
More than 10 years of experience of an engineer or researcher for cross fin and tube type heat exchanger.
Extensive experience in numerical and experimental analysis of the heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
Experience in design and development of refrigeration cycle for air-conditioner.
Extensive experience in developing and managing relevant intellectual property (patents)
SKILLS:
Deep knowledge of heat exchanger
Deep knowledge of vapor compression type refrigeration cycle design
Deep knowledge of mechanical properties and chemical properties of metal material.
Deep knowledge of the manufacturing process for the heat exchanger
Must have led or participated in heat transfer experimental methods development instrumentation and data analysis
