Job Description
Job Summary
Bike Mechanics repair and maintain bikes within the Rec Services rental fleet and for customers. Mechanics determine parts needed and order as necessary. Work is generally during the week with hours to be coordinated with supervisor generally 2-8 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience repairing bikes tuning front & rear derailleurs brakes replacing tubes/changing tires lubing chains wrapping handlebars Mechanical skills Interest in learning more about repairing bikes Availability during shop hours
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience as bike mechanic Bike mechanic training course Experience replacing bottom brackets hydraulic brake bleeding air shock tuning cluster & chain ring replacement chain replacement brake tuning wheel truing bike building hub replacement
