Randstad is seeking a Senior Digital Product Owner for a key client in Washington D.C. In this role you will be the linchpin of a cross-functional team serving as the voice of the customer to guide the development of high-impact digital products and services. Youll work closely with product management and stakeholders to define and execute the product strategy while prioritizing and managing the product backlog. This role demands a proactive individual who can translate business needs into technical requirements champion agile best practices and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with business goals and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Voice of the Customer: Serve as the primary point of contact for the product managing the backlog to ensure it reflects business priorities and drives maximum value.
Develop Product Strategy: Create and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals and customer needs.
Translate Business Needs: Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-defined features user stories and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize and Manage Backlog: Refine and prioritize features based on business value customer feedback and technical feasibility to ensure the team is focused on high-priority items.
Collaborate and Align: Foster strong collaboration with stakeholders customers and development teams to ensure everyone is aligned with the product vision.
Maintain Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction key features and timelines for product development.
Define Success Metrics: Establish and track key metrics to measure product success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Champion Agile Practices: Lead and champion the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices with a preference for Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Proven success in defining and building digital products on product teams.
Methodology: Strong understanding of agile methodologies with SAFe experience highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.
Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with reservation solutions in the transportation industry.
Technical Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with implementing SaaS and cloud solutions.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills.
