Job Description

Position / Specialty MRI Tech Shift: 3x12s 0600-1830 Weekends (Friday Saturday Sunday). No call No holidays. Years of experience REQ: 2 Yr First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ: Yes - this is a weekend position. Is on-call REQ N Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Memorial Belleville/Memorial East float as needed to support Locals accepted: N -50mile radius Pending State License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 7 Days within 13 week contract Guaranteed Hours: 40 Certs req: ARRT or ARMIT Preferred: BLS Special Requirements: EPIC community hospital experience OR Professional knowledge and skills: preparation and/or administration of contrast media starting peripheral IVs Work settings: adult acute care adult ICU adult outpatient ER/trauma Equipment: PACS Philips Musculoskeletal: hip/bony pelvis knee shoulder Head and neck: face/soft tissue neck orbits Special imaging procedures: Required-image post-processing MRP T-1 and T-2 weighted images. Preferred-CINE perfusion spin echo images surface coils Spine: cervical lumbar thoracic Experience with Philips machines Must have Philips MRI experience must have MRI registry must have 2 or more years of MRI experience. Details and Job tasks include knowledge of strict MRI safety procedures peripheral IV access experience be able to transfer and support patients physically with staff help and moving devices experience in acute care hospitals setting with outpatients inpatients and ER patients. Contract for hire must be able to work in an MRI zone 4.
