12-hour shifts

Who we are:
This 29-bed medical telemetry unit cares for a wide variety of patients with diverse medical and psychosocial needs making it an excellent environment to develop skills and strengthen nursing practice. Patients often present with acute and chronic conditions and multiple co-morbidities. Common diagnoses include renal failure sepsis cellulitis urinary tract infections pneumonia and diabetes. The unit also provides telemetry monitoring.

Nurses work closely with physicians specialists therapists and social workers to develop individualized care plans. The unit serves as a resource for the management of both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis addition it is a dedicated education unit that supports nursing students during their clinical practicums.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Washington State Registered Nurse license (upon hire)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification American Heart Association (upon hire)

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• National certification in area of specialty

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $78917 $148141 annually
