Job Description
Job Title: Operating Room (OR) - RN
Location: Santa Fe NM
Type: Full-Time 4x10 Hour Shifts Per Week
Shift Timing: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM (4 days per week 10 hours per shift)
Position Summary:
Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN will coordinate and implement high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical judgment a commitment to safety and a passion for perioperative care.
Key Responsibilities:-
Assess patients conditions before surgery

Ensure the OR is fully prepped with required equipment implants and instruments

Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment

Assist surgeons by passing instruments during operations
-
Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout procedures

Evaluate and manage postoperative care

Review and maintain complete documentation per protocol

Adhere to infection control safety and confidentiality standards

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

Shift: 4 days per week 10 hours per shift

Timing: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10000 (paid in increments)

Relocation Assistance: Up to $5000
Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Licensure/Certifications:
-
Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State license
-
BLS Certification (required at hire or within 2 weeks)
-
Must maintain all required certifications; no grace period for renewal
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience required
