Job Description
Job Title: Test Automation Engineer Playwright C# NET
Location Hartford CT 2 weeks compulsory office
Experience 8-10 years
Job Summary
Customer is looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright technologies and API testing using Rest Assured
You will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across web applications built on the Microsoft stack
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop UI automated test scripts using Playwright with CNET
- Design and develop API automated test scripts using Rest Assured
- Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand business and functional requirements
- Integrate test automation into CICD pipelines eg Azure DevOps Jenkins
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks
- Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and prioritize accordingly
- Perform functional regression and end-to-end testing of the application under test
- Document test cases bugs and test execution results clearly
- Participate in code reviews and ensure automation best practices
- Troubleshoot failures and identify root causes quickly and effectively
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using C
- Solid understanding of the NET Framework Core
- Experience testing REST APIs and using tools like Rest Assured or automated API testing frameworks
- Proficient with CICD tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Experience in writing end-to-end and integration tests
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks like SpecFlow is optional
- Strong debugging problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exposure to containerized environments Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL and working with databases
