Key Responsibilities
- Record to Report (R2R) Process Management: Ensuring accurate and timely management of the record-to-report process including month-end and year-end closing as well as the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Finance Operations Oversight: Supervising finance operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and fixed assets management.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Leading process improvement initiatives by leveraging technology (e.g. RPA/Bots) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Strategic Insights: Providing valuable insights and recommendations to senior management to support key financial decisions and effective risk management.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentoring and developing the capabilities of the accounting team both at headquarters and across regional offices.
- Policy Governance: Overseeing the development implementation and adherence to finance and accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management.
- Project Leadership: Leading and managing ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on accounting-related matters to ensure alignment and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance with roles such as Financial Controller Deputy Financial Controller or similar positions.
- Professional Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification CPA is a must.
- Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles including international accounting and auditing standards such as IFRS.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the consumer or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated hands-on leadership with excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
- Finance & Process Acumen: Strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to drive improvements.
- Language Skills: Good command of English with experience in working with multinational teams and stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and digital tools.
- Background in the F&B industry.
