Job Description

You will assist Superintending officer in managing construction projects in Tuas. Major responsibilities include:

  • Monitor track and provide timely project progress reports to the management
  • Ensure workmanship procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards
  • Liaise with consultants and main contractor regarding work progress work acceptance plan approval encountered issues and other relevant matters
  • Review coordinate and comment on contractors drawings and other submittals
  • Conduct inspection with RE / RTO
  • Monitor safety performance of contractors

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Building
  • Good knowledge and experienced in building related works such as civil engineering structural architectural building repair carpentry partition A&A renovation plumbing works etc
  • Experience in construction of building projects including M&E facilities installation and maintenance regime is preferred
  • Familiar with planning software(s) such as Primavera and MS Project
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have initiative and drive to resolve site issues to achieve project success
  • Proficient in MS Work & Excel and drafting of letter
