Welcoming you to the team
The team is dynamic and experienced team members located in Oslo. Our team is responsible for PWR Transmission related to transformation and project management; we handle PWR Transmission related to transformation and project management; we transform related to Nexans procedures for PWR Transmission Project Manager. The workplace is in Paris/La Dfense or Oslo and you will be reporting the Business Group VP Transformation.
Getting a flying start
To succeed in Transformation Project Management team you have solid experience from the he electrification offshore wind or submarine interconnection industries. You have experience from project management transformation processes and cross-functional workstreams. You have worked in companies that are project driven and have activities related to offshore wind sector or submarine cable systems. You have experience working domestically or internationally. Ideally your experience is related to interconnectors windfarms or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience with managing transformation initiatives identifying key problems and driving solutions and have a strong problem-solving skillset enhanced by your natural leadership and communication abilities.

How you make an impact
You will work in teams as a PWR Transmission Project Manager with focus on transformation initiatives. To do this you will support the deployment of transformation strategies ensure key actions are followed and coach teams across multiple workstreams. With your strong leadership and problem-solving skills you will ensure the successful execution of transformation objectives and drive continuous addition you will be comfortable working with executing transformation initiatives on time and within budget improving operational efficiency through process optimization and managing stakeholder alignment for successful project execution. You may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in technical improvements relevant to our department. You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.
Your starting point when you join
- Degree in engineering business or management.
- 4 years of relevant engineering experience (project management experience in the electrification offshore wind or submarine interconnection industries is a must).
- In this role the likelihood of succeeding will increase if you have consulting skills financial acumen and transformation experience.
- As we work with transformation deployment and project management it is important to have strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- In Nexans we work in teams and are driven by project execution therefore being able to manage complex cross-functional teams and having strong communication skills is of utmost importance.
- Fluent in English oral and written Norwegian is a plus.
