Job Summary
We have been engaged by our client an established law firm regarding a new opportunity for a Private Client/Probate Solicitor.
Ideally you will have 3 6 years PQE and the emphasis is on Probate experience.
Experience required.
Acting for individuals in a wide range of private client matters including:
acquisition and sale of residential properties
drafting wills and advising clients on the CAT implications of same
obtaining grants of probate/letters of administration and administering estates.
Probate experience
Conduct meetings with clients and legal personal representatives.
Administration and distribution of Estates
Applications for Grant of Probate
Draft and prepare CA24s Oath of Executor/Administrator and administration Bonds;
Draft and register Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Knowledge in Estate Planning providing practical and Tax efficient advice to clients
Ideally a member of Society of Trust and Estate Planning (STEP)
Candidates will need the ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
