Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory or procedural
Assist with copyright and trademark enforcement
Assist with reproduction permission requests from publishers
Assist in preparing and tracking corporate filings
Assist and track post-decision activities (i.e. decisions lists state notifications)
Maintain and update the Document Retention Policy and training procedures in the SharePoint website
Maintain information relevant for review using established procedures and make recommendations to the General Counsel Vice President of Compliance
Maintain knowledge of legal procedural rules
Monitor website and domain names
Receive submissions and verify required information has been received
Understand and monitor corporate regulations
Communications
Communicate with legal counsel as directed
Communicate with other departments in accordance with established departmental procedures
Demonstrate oral and written communication techniques
Develop case summaries for consideration via SharePoint
Generate letters of investigation and notification
Receive written/verbal complaints regarding possible violations of the Guidelines for Trademark Use
Report on case outcomes as appropriate
Administrative
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and ensuring that files are appropriately processed in a timely manner
Provide administrative support for the General Counsel Vice President of Compliance
Maintain and update case files
Remain technically up-to-date and apply new knowledge to job
Perform other duties as assigned and modified as business needs dictate
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications: Associate or bachelors degree in business finance law or related field along with familiarity with regulatory frameworks
Skills and Abilities required:
Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and organize a daily workload by priorities
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making skills
Professional level verbal and written communication skills
Strong investigative skills using social media and public records etc.
Experience with Lexis/Nexis and court or public records searches
Ability to work cooperatively with other individuals and make valued contributions to the outputs of others to assist own team or project to achieve the required outputs
Possess an extremely keen eye for detail; ability to remember key points of policies and processes along with fine details
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
In depth understanding of Microsoft 365 including Teams and SharePoint

Salary Description:
$23.36- $27.52 per hour
