Job Description

TheBarbara and Richard Csomay Center for Gerontological Excellence(Csomay Center) at the College of Nursing is seeking an Administrative and Communications Coordinator 70 100% time for the Optimal Aging Initiative (OAI). Position is specified term through June 30 2026 with the potential for extension pending funding availability. The Barbara and Richard Csomay Center for Gerontological Excellence at the University of Iowa housed in the College of Nursing is an interdisciplinary center dedicated to advancing innovations in research education and practice to promote optimal aging and quality of life in all older adults and their caregivers. Beyond its core mission the Center serves as a vital resource hub fostering connections among its members and the broader community. Whether linking individuals to community resources facilitating partnerships between organizations or connecting external stakeholders to University resources the Csomay Center is dedicated to building a robust network of support and collaboration.
