1.) CNPH 10100 Introduction to Film Aesthetics and Analysis - Professor Tom Bohn

A TA is needed to download a prescribed list of film clips and screen them in discussion to facilitate appropriate analysis and discussion.

Requirements/Qualifications: Preference will be given to students who have takenIntroduction to Film Aesthetics and Analysis and/or Hollywood and American Film.

2.) CNPH 11100-01 and CNPHProfessor Robert Corna

The TA will assist with picking up and returning equipment to PPECS support students during hands-on demos and assist with varied technological needs.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B.
Hours: 4 hours per week per section


3.)CNPH 11100-02 Professor Jason Harrington

The TA will support technology deployment technical support AV support in-class workshop and software support and pickup and drop-off of equipment.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received an A.
Hours: 3 hours per week

4.) CNPH 11100-04Professor Alaric Rocha

The TA will assist with picking up and returning equipment to PPECS help setting up and breaking down equipment supporting students during hands-on demos and assisting with varied technological needs.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B.
Hours: 3 hours per week

5.) CNPH 11100-05Professor Alaric Rocha

The TA will assist with picking up and returning equipment to PPECS help setting up and breaking down equipment supporting students during hands-on demos and assisting with varied technological needs.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B.
Hours: 4 hours per week

6.) CNPH 11100-06 and CNPH 11100-07 Professor Dachi Sato

The TA will assist with checking out equipment from PPECS before class and returning it after class; assisting students during hands-on exercises and demos; assisting students during editing sessions; participating in critique sessions; collecting and organizing project files for presentations and screenings.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received an A.
Hours: 4 hours per week (total for both sections)

7.) CNPH22400-01 and 22400-02 Cinema Production 2 Professor Stephen St. Francis Decky

The TA for this course should have a keen understanding of the equipment used throughout the semester as well as working knowledge of the applications we will be working with. The individual should also be prepared to take part in both technical and aesthetic discussions and instruction.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B.
Hours: 4 hours per week per section

8.) CNPH 22400-03 and CNPH 22400-04Cinema Production 2 Professor Ryan Somelofske

The TA will pick up and return Film Equipment to PPECS for classroom demonstrations lead hands-on equipment demonstrations with small groups of students print and copy pertinent files for the classroom and be available to students to provide guidance and assistance

Hours: 4 hours per week per section

Hours: 4 hours per week

10.) CNPH 32300-01 ACP Experimental Professor Dachi Sato

The TA will assist by handling equipment checkout and return; assisting students during exercises and workshops; prepping exercise materials; assisting students for presentations; contributing to critiques; collecting and organizing project files etc.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received an A.
Hours: 4 hours per week

11.) CNPH 33001-01 ACP: Directing Professor Sen-I Yu

The TA will with help setting up screening materials coordinating student in class audition rehearsal and shoots; managing equipment for shoots and setting camera and lighting equipment.

Requirements/Qualifications:Preference will be given to students who have taken CP 1 CP 2 and ACP: Fiction
Hours: 3 hours per week


12.) CNPH33003-01 ACP: Experimental Workflows Professor Stephen St. Francis Decky

A classroom assistant for this course should be prepared to take part in technical discussions and instruction as well as moving and setting up a variety of video and media installations.

Requirements/Qualifications: Preference will be given to students who have taken CP 1 & CP 2.
Hours: 4 hours per week

13.) CNPH 33011-01 ACP: Picture Editing Professor John Scott

The TA will work with students who fall behind during editing demos and provide informal feedback to students on assignments during class.

Requirements/Qualifications:Preference will be given to students who have taken CNPH 33011 ACP Picture Editing or TVR 29000 Editing.
Hours: 2 hours per week

14.) CNPH 34200-01 and CNPH 34200-02 Contemporary Photographic Genres Professor Rhonda Vanover

TA needed to aid with setting up photographic equipment and lecture delivery tidying the room before and after the class meets calibrating printers for lab work and providing individual and group support with student activities/labs.

Requirements/Qualifications: Preference will be given to students who have taken Introduction to Photography.
Hours: 4 hours per week (total for both sections)


15.) CNPH 42000-01 Thesis Cinema Production (Lab) Professor Sen-I Yu

The TA will assist withsetting up screening materials coordinating student in class workshops managing equipment help setting camera and lighting equipment help collecting students work and helping to program the Thesis Screening event.

Requirements/Qualifications:Preference will be given to students who have taken CP 1 CP 2 and ACP: Fiction
Hours: 2 hours per week

16.) CNPH 42000-04 Thesis Cinema Production (Lab) Professor Sen-I Yu

Hours: 2 hours per week

17.) CNPH 42000 Thesis Cinema Production (Lecture) Professor Sen-I Yu

Hours: 3 hours per week


18.) CNPH42000-02 Thesis Cinema Production Professor Andy Watts

Picking up and returning equipment to PPECS supporting students during hands-on demos and in-class shoots plus assisting with varied classroom technological needs such as film screenings guest lectures (some via Zoom) presentations and attendance.

Requirements/Qualifications: Preference will be given to students who have takenfilm production courses.
Hours: 4 hours per week
