PRTRs IT function is looking for an experienced Senior Software to join our client who focuses on the manufacturing and sale of electronics products for automobiles as well as related services and developing electronics products for Automotive Powertrain and GPS Tracking Systems for Japan and ASEAN countries.
Job Description
- Engaging in the full project life cycle from requirements gathering to project implementation and testing.
- Analyzing requirements and supporting development effort estimation with the team leader or project manager.
- Developing and executing unit tests integration tests and system tests; experience with automation testing tools is preferred.
- Writing well-designed testable and efficient code; debug and maintain applications.
- Conducting software testing and quality assurance ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Evaluating system feasibility by analyzing problems assessing risks and proposing solutions.
- Developing comprehensive documentation including flowcharts diagrams and code comments; perform code refactoring as needed.
- Integrating software components into a fully functional system and recommending improvements.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems ensuring long-term reliability.
- Collaborating with team members throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) following industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in web development and testing
- Proficient in Frontend development using VueJS and backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and C# (Fullstack).
- Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and connecting backend services.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git (e.g. GitHub GitLab).
- Solid understanding of SQL databases SaaS and Cassandra.
- Proven ability to conduct end-to-end SDLC.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Good communication skills.
- English proficiency is required as the GM/VP is Japanese.
