Job Title:Community Occupational Therapist - Duty Team
Location:Rochdale
Pay Rate: 25 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its clients busy and supportive Community Occupational Therapy Duty Team in Rochdale. This office-based role is located alongside the Prevention Team and other Adult Care Services.
What will your responsibilities be
- Screen incoming enquiries using robust tools to determine appropriate responses.
- Provide advice support and signposting to service users.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapy Managers to prioritize cases and determine the need for face-to-face visits.
- Conduct Duty visits when required to assess and reduce risk promoting independence.
- Apply sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and OT practices within Equipment and Adaptations Services.
- Utilize Magic Notes a newly implemented tool to support documentation and workflow during Duty work.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Proven experience in adult social care particularly in equipment and adaptations.
- Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to undertake occasional community visits as part of Duty responsibilities.
