EC1 Partners is currently working with a digital asset payments institution and were looking for a MLRO based in SG. This role will provide the opportunity to design and implement risk controls building and maintenance of combust compliance frameworks aligned with MAS requirements.
Responsibilities
Act as key person with regulators such as MAS manage internal & external reporting respond to requests
Perform MAS reporting and monthly regulatory reports and managing stakeholders
Keep up to date with regulatory changes maintain industry best practices
Manage any escalations from compliance operational teams
Liaising with vendors suppliers financial institutions and banks
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AML/CFT within the Fintech space ideally in Payments or Crypto
Bachelor/Masters degree in Business/Law or a related field
Familiarity with MAS regulatory frameworks such as PSA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ACAMS/ ICA certification is a plus
