We are currently looking for a Plannerto join us. In this role you will be responsible as a supporting role in delivering integrated planning recommendations and ensuring smooth account coordination internally and externally with our clients.


Reporting of the role

This role reports to: Associate Director

In this role your goals will be:
In three months:

  • You should be familiar with our proprietary tools & standard industry tools and team/account process.
  • You should be able to come up with media recommendations in consultation with the Business Director / Planning Director and handle day-to-day client queries on the media recommendations.
  • You should understand and be able to handle the internal processes in WPP Media in terms of planning invoicing and activations etc

In six months:

  • You should have master client reporting and tracking of booked media.
  • You would have confidently presented media recommendations to clients face-to-face.
  • You should have met all the clients that you work with gained a fair knowledge of your clients businesses and understand how they work.
  • You should have built a comfortable rapport with your team members and your clients.

In 12 months:

  • You should have gained full knowledge/overview on your clients businesses and know what works in order to achieve the clients business objectives.
  • You should be able to handle clients day-to-day activities and be able to propose ideas and challenge the briefs/requests.
  • You should have participated in new business pitches.

What your day job looks like at Mindshare:

  • Day-to-day client servicing and relationship management.
  • Work with various teams internally to support the clients requests and manage campaign executions.
  • Offline campaign planning including Print OOH to support entire campaign recommendation.
  • Digital & social display campaign planning implementation and optimisation along with integration with the wider comms.
  • Deployment of best-in-market targeting & tracking tools.
  • Extract report & analyse clients digital campaign performance.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate degree relating to business/marketing/communication.
  • 2 years experience in media planning/digital media preferablyin a media agency.
  • Excellent in spoken and written English & Chinese. (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Experience and knowledge on SEM are a plus.
  • Experience with industry tools such admanGO.
  • Rigorous & comfortable with numbers.
  • Sensitive to numbers and great knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with meeting clients & great presentation skills.
  • A strong and genuine interest in media and an appreciation of the part it plays in advertising is vital.
  • You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and you thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment.
  • Candidates with less experience will consider as Media Executive.
