Sleep Scientist Respiratory and Sleep Medicine - Canberra ACT
- Pay: $88252 - $105569 (Plus 11.5% Super) Health Professional Level 2
- Location: The Canberra Hospital Garran
- Contract: Full Time Permanent
An exciting opportunity exists for a Sleep Scientist to join a leading Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department of a Government Health Service in Canberra providing high-quality sleep disorder assessments and management. This role involves conducting routine and complex polysomnography positive airway pressure therapy management and contributing to research training and service development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform polysomnography and sleep studies for adult patients.
- Manage positive airway pressure therapy initiation and follow-up.
- Provide clinical supervision and education to staff and students.
- Support quality improvement and research projects to enhance patient care.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelor of Science/Applied Science or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months experience in polysomnography and airway pressure titration
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team
- Accreditation with ACCP (desirable)
