Responsibilities
We are offering a $10K sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff directing patient flow assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients
- Mentors others in areas such as competency documentation equipment use plan of care National Patient Safety Goals and participation in inservice education.
- Evaluates care given by staff.
- Coaches to improve care.
- Ensures standard of care is maintained.
- Exhibits a general understanding of the process for dealing with ethical dilemmas and understands and coordinates the process for obtaining an Ethics Consult.
- Coordinates patient flow on the unit to facilitate the provision of timely and effective care.
- Utilizes the Clinical Response Team (CRT) appropriately for the area.
- Demonstrates appropriate prioritization and critical thinking skills in critical situations
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Associates Degree - ADN Diploma or foreign equivalent.
- Current AZ State RN license in good standing required.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification - Natl
- Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty
Preferred:
- Two years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or Charge Nurse experience.
- BSN
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within six months of hire into position.
- Previous experience with personal computers
